Boohoo first joined the metaverse with the release of its free boohooverse Access Pass, the first in a series of Boohoo NFTs created in collaboration with female artists and GMGN Labs on the Polygon blockchain. The card, created by Amy Kilner, was claimed in 2.5 hours and caused massive surges in internet traffic, leading the website to collapse.
